Michael has dedicated his career to providing financial institutions with independent guidance in areas such as underwriting, commercial credit reviews, third-party assessments, and process improvement.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Central Arkansas, and in 2022, he achieved the Credit Risk Certified (CRC) professional designation from the Risk Management Association (RMA), further solidifying his expertise in commercial credit risk. Before transitioning to banking, Michael gained valuable leadership experience in retail, serving in store leadership roles with Target and Walmart, where he honed his skills in operational management, team development, and customer-focused service.
With a deep understanding of both financial risk management and the operational aspects of running successful businesses, Michael founded CRMG with a mission to provide outsourced credit risk services to small and medium-sized financial institutions.
